I’m a fully qualified counsellor, having trained at two of the leading counselling institutions in London – the Minster Centre and CPPD.

I’m also a registered member and bound by the ethics of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

My background

Prior to becoming a counsellor, I ran my own business for almost a decade. After selling it, I decided I wanted to pursue something that felt more meaningful, and returned to my earlier passion for psychology, retraining as a therapist.

I’m therefore passionate about supporting people who are facing demanding work situations and finding this hard to balance with supporting their own wellbeing.

I have also held voluntary positions as a counsellor for two organisations offering low-cost-counselling, and as a mentor for a charity that supports refugees. I have a BSc (Hons) in Business Management and a MA (Hons) in Journalism.

I am particularly interested in how a person’s childhood can affect their present-day life. And how gaining insight into the reasons why unhelpful patterns emerge in our lives can enable us to move forward, empowered to make the changes we’ve always wanted to.
